Model reduction of traveling-wave problems via Radon cumulative distribution transform

چکیده
Due to their sizeable Kolmogorov n-width, travel-wave problems have brought critical challenges conventional model reduction techniques. This study aims provide new insights into this problem by exploiting the Radon cumulative distribution transform (R-CDT) that emerged in sector of computer vision science. By virtue unique property nonlinear invertible R-CDT renders both traveling and scaling components amplitude modulations, a substantial model-reduction is achieved space, while sustaining high accuracy. The method parameter-free data-driven, which lends itself regardless dimensions or boundary conditions.

Image Representation Via a Finite Radon Transform
{ This paper presents a model of nite Radon transforms composed of Radon projections. The model generalizes to nite groups projections in the classical Radon transform theory. The Radon projector averages a function on a group over cosets of a subgroup. Reconstruction formulae formally similar to the convolved backprojection ones are derived and an iterative reconstruction technique is found to...
متن کاملSecond Harmonic Reduction of Traveling Wave Tube Amplifier Using Ferrite Material
Traveling Wave Tubes (TWTs) consist of different elements. The most important element of TWT is the RF circuit. RF circuits in helix TWTs need a dielectric support to hold the helix; this support also has an effect in electromagnetic properties of RF circuits. A novel dielectric support is proposed to reduce the second harmonic of helix TWTs. The dielectric support in this structure consists of...
متن کاملSome traveling wave solutions of soliton family
Solitons are ubiquitous and exist in almost every area from sky to bottom. For solitons to appear, the relevant equation of motion must be nonlinear. In the present study, we deal with the Korteweg-deVries (KdV), Modied Korteweg-de Vries (mKdV) and Regularised LongWave (RLW) equations using Homotopy Perturbation method (HPM). The algorithm makes use of the HPM to determine the initial expansion...
متن کاملRetinal vessel detection via second derivative of local Radon transform
For the automatic detection of retinal blood vessels a preprocessing of the noisy original images is necessary. Retinal blood vessels are assumed to be line-like structures and can therefore be enhanced via convolution with suitable, elongated kernels. Consequently we use the local Radon kernel as a prototype of an elongated kernel for this task. The Radon kernel is rotated at different angles ...
متن کاملLimited Data Problems for the Generalized Radon Transform in ℝn
We consider the generalized Radon transform (defined in terms of smooth weight functions) on hyperplanes in Rn. We analyze general filtered backprojection type reconstruction methods for limited data with filters given by general pseudodifferential operators. We provide microlocal characterizations of visible and added singularities in Rn and define modified versions of reconstruction operators...
